finally finished the Florence and the Machine piece. The concept for the piece was just to make her apart of the stories she tells in her songs. I chose two of my favorites to incorporate and if your a fan of Florence then you'll know which songs I've weaved her into the midst of. Above is the final with color and beneath is the black and white original watercolor painting. I hope you enjoy!P.S- Also excited because I just brought my St. Vincent tickets and also found out Florence is releasing a new album in October/November, and just acquired the new St. Vincent and Cymbals Eat Guitars albums (both of which are amazing). Its been a good music week for me :-)
